• • * If Input water pressure is below 0.3 kg/Sq.cm, use of Booster Pump attachment is recommended to increase input water pressure and proper functioning of the unit.
  • ** If Input water pressure is above 3.0 kg/Sq.cm, use of Pressure reducing valve is recommended for leak proof and smooth functioning of the unit.

• Purification Stages:

  • - Sediment Filter : Sediment filter removes coarse and fine suspended particulate impurities from water and makes water clean.
  • - Granual Activated carbon Filter: A filter with granular activated carbon (GAC) is a proven option to remove certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water. GAC filters also can be used to remove chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine.
  • - Activated carbon block: It absorbs residual chlorine and hazardous impurities like pesticides , herbicides ,THM’s etc . from water also absorbs bad taste ,color and odor causing organic compounds and improves the taste of water.
  • - Revers osmasis Membrane: A reverse osmosis membrane will remove impurities and particles larger than .001 microns.
  • - Post Carbon: After the water leaves the RO before going to the storage tank, the product water goes through the post carbon filter . Any remaining tastes and odors are removed from the product water by post carbon filtration.

• Note:

  • - Use a Pre filter cartridge if water contains more than 10 ntu turbidity.
  • - Input Raw water temperature should be between 10°C to 45°C
  • - Total Dissolved Solids in Input Raw Water should not exceed 2000 ppm.
  • - Raw water should be free from Oil & Grease.
  • - Permissible Iron Content in Input Raw Water is 0.3 mg/ltr (max.).
  • - Total Hardness in Input Raw Water should not exceed 600 mg/ltr (max.)
